About mrs007

May 13th, 2008

I was born and raised in the south, but I am not a redneck, so don’t give me any crap. I can read and I don’t let my kids go out in public barefoot. I also have all of my original teeth and I don’t know anyone who uses or manufactures crystal meth. I watch Fox News (Bill O’Reilly is my fave) and I listen to conservative talk radio. I am a Christian, and I have strong religious beliefs, but I am not all holier than thou so don’t be shocked or call me a hypocrite if I say something that you don’t think a Christian would say. I am human and I live in the real world.

I work at home, but I don’t get paid for it. I am married to Adam and he is pretty great when he isn’t asking me where I put his shoes. He works on computer servers and also helps technologically illiterate people everywhere enabling me to stay home with our two daughters. Addison (Addie) is 7 and is a second grader who apparently knows it all. Alivia (Livie) is 16 months old and is really good at keeping me busy and laughing.

We have a stinky but ADORABLE dog named Max (aka Captain Retardo), a cat named Jack  who likes to slay small animals and eat them whole EW!(he rules the neighborhood btw) and another cat named SkippyJon Jones who we should have named Dennis the Menace.

I am not the perfect mommy(they don’t exist), but I love my family and sometimes funny stuff happens and I share it and embarrass myself and others in the process.

I am a little bit of a control freak, but I go with the flow much of the time because it just makes life easier. I like to keep things clean and in order, but it is a constant struggle to keep things clean with kids and pets. I am far from perfect, but I try to make a good life for my family.

There is so much more to me, but I will save it for the blog.

That first paragraph is probably one of the funniest things I’ve EVER read! I especially like the part about you having all of your teeth!

“I watch Foxnews (Bill O’Reilly is my fav) and I listen to conservative talk radio.”

We might end up being BFF. ;)

Nice to meet you! I’m from WA, the crystal meth capital of the Northwest - so your 1st paragraph tickled me as well. Looking forward to checking out your blog (via THAT family).

Hey, not all Northeners think horrible things about Southerners! None of those things even crossed my mind. Unfortunately, stereotypes about my state tend to be true. It’s often way too cold (tomorrow is the first day of my spring break and it’s meant to snow), and our governments tend to be a little tainted (I’m from Illinois, certainly you’re familiar with our sad former crook governor?)

Anyway, the day I read this you were blue. We recently had a message on this at church, and I wish I could remember the gist of it–something about the joy in your heart. It sounds all namby pamby, but it really wasn’t. Storms bring more than one downpour, I hope your spirit is renewed by some of what you go through?

How’s that from a Christ Following Democrat?
