I have dishes piled in my sink
I make up the bed EVERY day, and it hasn’t been made in 2 days. AND truth be told, I need to change the sheets today as well.
Also, Alivia’s room currently resembles an orphanage because we put up a new crib and the old one is still in there fully assembled next to the twin bed.
I have like 10 projects started and I HATE that!
Do YOU know what the problem is? I do…
No, I am not depressed
I am not experiencing marital distress (in fact it’s the opposite)
I am not too busy with the kids (Addison is out of town with my in-laws, and Alivia is such an easy going baby)
I am not sick
and I am not drunk.
The problem is that I have been temporarily consumed by the blogosphere!
I have been reading blog after blog after blog. Here is how it happens. I read a blog that I love….my eyes wander over to the Blog Roll OR the beloved blogger links to a blog THEY love. Then I read that blog and I may or may not get swept up and read every post( in between actually taking care of my 9 month old…I am still nursing 5 times a day and I have to do some housework or I might get FIRED). But mostly I have found that there are just SOOO many brilliant, articulate, entertaining, hilarious blogging people out there.
And I LOVE it….but it makes me feel a tad intimidated. Some of these women are/were pharmaceutical sales reps, lawyers, teachers, and web designers.
I am not saying that I am incapable of writing a coherent blog (in fact I was once upon a time an English major/ writing minor), but I did NOT graduate college(although it is a goal I will achieve….eventually) and I DO utilize synonym.com pretty frequently.
I also write run-on sentences, misuse commas, “dot dot dot” too frequently and use parentheses recklessly.
Sue me!
What I am saying in this ,what has turned out to be a very long and wordy post, is that I love all of these blogs and I only aspire to be half as entertaining as some of these amazing writers.
On another note, I sent an email yesterday to the ladies at Ruby and Roja to make my blog unique and beautiful! I am SO excited to have a bloggy makeover, so sometime in the next 6 weeks I hope to have a new look here at Mrs007.net! Yay!
In the meantime I will continue to try and juggle my love affair with the blogosphere and my very real life responsibilities otherwise known as taking care of the kids/house/husband/dog/cat/laundry.
Yeah…wish me luck on that.

I hear ya! There are some days that I just don’t do my “chores” things just don’t get done. And I’ve become okay with that because I’ve learned how to clean my house in like twenty minutes, top to bottom. It’s called “James is on his way home, holy crap this place looks like no one cleaned at all”.
I totally get sucked in some days!
(and you are entertaining too!!)
haha! You are “normal”! I didn’t believe you when you said that your house is sometimes a mess. Love ya!
I’m excited about your blog design, too! And your house? Nothing but normal.
Too funny! I enjoy your blog very much! So, what are some of the favorite blogs you have found?
Um, your house is normal and I don’t see anything wrong. My sink looks like that everyday (and I never make my bed). Ruby and Roja will have you looking FABULOUS and I can’t wait to see the design.
