The Target Conspiracy

August 8th, 2008

I wasn’t sure what kind of post to write today.  But then…I checked my friend called Google Reader and I read this.

And guess what!!!!?  I am beginning to suspect a conspiracy.  And its name is Target.  They get me EVERY time.  I go in for just one thing and I end up buying 10 things.  And later Adam checks our bank account online and messages me on Google Talk to ask how much they are actually charging for bathroom cleaner these days.

What is WITH you Target?  Why does everything in your store have to be so cute and affordable?  You know what else?  When I return home with my children and our wonderful Target purchases, I can’t wait to take it all out and look at it.  I can’t wait to tear open the packages and cut off the tags and put the things to use!

And the things we buy are always things we need that I just forgot to remember to put on the list. Hehe!

But then I remember….they are just things.  And things are meaningless…and you should click on THAT link to find out why.  You will be blessed I promise.

So…now because you read this post…you are aware of Target’s not so secret plot to make me spend our money (that Adam worked so hard to earn so we can eat) on all of these wonderful meaningless things.  I still love you Target!  See you tomorrow. Just kidding Adam.

They are geniuses! The way they display items, have everything laid out in the store…

I love coming home and looking at the purchases, too. It’s nearly the best part of the shopping trip!
