thank you for that. i grew up being told that the end was nigh. we weren’t supposed to see the year 1985. then we weren’t supposed to see 1990. then 1995. it was a very scary way to grow up. then i studied history and learned that people have thought they were living in the Last Days since the first easter. it says in the bible that no one can know when this will happen, so let’s stop speculating and stop living in fear. it’s counter-productive.

Your post is very good and so true. Think of the devotion I sent you today. Romans 8:28 …all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. The Bible does not say that all things will be good.
We have certainly been tested with lots of trials in the Bond Family. Thanks be to God those trials make us stronger in our faith. AND THE BEST IS YET TO COME. THANK YOU LORD

I think this a great post! You hit the nail right on the head! The culture war is in full swing. Especially in CA with the prop 8 debate. USA was founded on traditional Christian values but now it is offensive when we say God in the pledge or on our dollar bills. Where is the ACLU when Christians get their crosses knocked out of their hands and stomped on like in a recent protest in CA?
