I do claim on my About Me page that I am not a redneck and that I don’t let my children go out into public barefoot, but that is not entirely true. It’s up for debate whether or not I am a redneck…and Livie has pretty much been barefoot since the day she was born. I mean yeah I put socks on her when it was cold and of course she wore a lot of sleepers during the winter. Fortunately due to the weather in the South she hasn’t really needed to wear shoes.
However, it is starting to feel like fall around here and I love it. It’s my favorite season! I am not big on winter, ( although I do love Christmas) but Fall is so wonderful!! So ANYWAY I got off subject there for a sec.
New shoes. yeah. I bought Alivia new shoes. I was so tempted to buy these.

But they didn’t have them in her size. And my mother in law and my mom both will LOVE the one’s that I bought. They are classic baby shoes. And Alivia looks so cute in them!

They even took a picture of her and gave us this! You may have to click on it to see it better.

I think she caught Alivia in between smiles. Still cute though.

She is just darling! My Princess was not a shoe girl, well, until she was about 5 or 6. Every time we would go pick her up in the nursery at church she would have her shoes off. Matter of fact, she still does that at 7.
Now she just likes to “look” and try on all the shoes.
So cute! I too bought a pair of the old fashioned shoes when Madi was learning to walk. They are a very good support shoe for them and have stood the test of time I guess.
Great shoes! There will be plenty of time for cute shoes as she grows. Enjoy the moment!
I remeber the kids first shoes from Stride Rite! I still have them put up somewhere.
How sweet that they gave you a photo to remember the moment!
I love STRIDE RITE! We just got an outlet, so my baby is styling too!
E just got his first shoes too! I don’t spend $40+ on shoes for myself so I surely wasn’t going to spend that much on E when he’ll just grow out of them in 2 months. We ended up with some from The Rocking Horse, but E HATED them (much to heavy!). So we went on a shoe hunt. Ended up with some FABULOUS shoes from Target!!!! They’re called Ministar from the Bobux brand! You should check them out – THEY FREAK’N ROCK! And the best part (other than E loving them)….they’re only $13! Yeah, that’s right!!!!!!! Take that Stride Rite!!!!!!!
I like the classic look! My first son had such fat feet he could only wear stride rites!
Love Love Love those shoes! My son just grew out of his last pair – Boo Hoo!!!! He is an extra wide too, so the only shoes I can find to fit him are from stride rite…
