December 16th, 2008
One year ago today her life was cut short. The man she once thought she would marry took her life. Wasn’t she beautiful? I was so blessed to have her as my aunt. She was like a sister to me and our family will never be the same with out her.
This year has been strange without her. Her son lost his mother. My grandparent’s lost their only daughter. My dad and my Uncle Ken lost their baby sister. We all lost something. It’s weird to not be able to call her. It’s just wrong to not see her or hear her laugh. Life is emptier without her in the world. So many people loved her and for good reason. She was very easy to love. I miss her. We all miss her.
There is one thing that makes it better. A part of her lives on. She left us a gift.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for our family. There are no words for our gratitude.

I have to tell you, I stumbled across your blog somehow the other day and think you are hilarious. I tried to get semi-caught up with some posts during some Christmas baking downtime and just HAD to add you to my reader.
